Federico Amorin, who is in charge of its organization, has every reason to believe that this year will exceed the number of attendees of last year. On the one hand, because the public knows that his small contribution materializes in charity, and is fully devoted to perform different social welfare works in the Aguada area. On the other hand, because there will be more wineries that will offer their wines to accompany cold cuts and cheeses from Ottonello, Farming and La Dolfina.
The national wineries which have already confirmed their participation in this event are Antigua Bodega Stagnari, Bodegas Castillo Viejo, Viñedos y Bodega Filgueira, Bodega J. Chiappella, Bodega Lugano, Bodega Marichal e Hijo, Pizzorno Family Estates, Giménez Méndez/Plaza Vidiella, Juan Toscanini e Hijos, Uruka Vinos Finos and Viña Varela Zarranz.
Other companies such as media agencies, restaurants, collection networks and money exchange houses also joined in this effort, and students of the School of Gastronomy of the UTU, will contribute with their work for the arrangement of the dishes and the service.
Proceeds will be used primarily to provide psychological care and dental care to children in the Jacobo Varela School Complex which is located in the area of Aguada, and also to distribute wheelchairs, eyeglasses, crutches and canes for those who cannot afford them.
Attendees will be able to takes the tasting glasses as a gift, and there will be raffles of wine bottles, sets of glasses, and other surprises.
The invitation cards are reserved by phone at +598 99 680069 and home delivered. People or companies who want to join efforts to this charity event may do so by email to this address: federicoamorin@adinet.com.uy
