Tasting Notes:
- This variety, typical of Tuscany in Italy, is combined in the ellaboration of the Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino wines, among other recognized Italian denominations of origin.
- Its name, from Etruscan origin, means Sangui Jovis, this is to say, Jupiter's blood.
- Young wine, fresh and fruity.
- Its aroma mixes cranberry, plums, strawberries, black fruits, orange peeling and violets, typical of this variety.
- Medium to light body and moderate acidity. Its tannins are smooth and velvety, with an elegant and fruity end of mouth.
- Ideal to drink fresh in spring and summer.
Vinification:
- Collected by hand, careful selection of clusters.
- Vinification by plot.
- Maceration: 7 days.
- Fermentation: malolactic.
- Fermentation temperature: 75°F
