  • Mondial du Pinot Noir
  • A unique competition for a very special variety. The Mondial du Pinot Noir stands apart as the only competition held at this level for wines made from a single grape variety. Pinot Noir is one variety but with many strongly different expressions of the terroirs where the grapes are grown. The MPN highlights the elegance and subtlety but also the terroir-specific traits of Pinot Noirs from around the world. It gives producers the chance to measure and compare the quality of their wines against the best.

  • International Wine Industry Forum 2010
  • The 6th Edition of the International Wine Industry Forum will take place on September 3 at the Auditorio Ángel Bustelo in Mendoza. Many wine industry personalities and specialists worldwide will be present, and among the lecturers there will be a remarkable panel of international experts. For 2010, more than 800 attendants among winery owners, executives and industry professionals are expected, as well as media representatives, which gave their support together with private sector companies. The website Bodegas del Uruguay will be Media Partner of the event.

  • Miami International Wine Fair
  • The 9th Annual Miami International Wine Fair, to be held October 16–17, 2010 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, is one of the largest wine tradeshows in America, featuring over 80,000 sqft (8,000 m2) of exhibit space with nearly 500 producers showcasing more than 1,500 wines from 20 countries. Hundreds of renowned importers, distributors and retailers participate every year in the Fair's innovative Buyers Program that guarantees exhibitors meetings with relevant potential buyers from all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Over 2,000 meetings will be scheduled in the 2010 edition, generating estimated sales of over 500,000 cases of wine.

  • Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2010
  • This will be the 3rd edition of the annual contest organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, at the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Wan Chai, Hong Kong (China). Given the size of the event and the large number of visitors, this fair is becoming one of the most important for the wine industry in Asia, representing a real showcase for the present and future of wine in the Asiatic markets. November 4-6, 2010.

  • The next Mondial du Merlot will be held in Lugano, from November 12th until November 14th 2010. Its aim is to highlight the excellency of the Merlot producers worldwide. Furthermore it values: to highlight the greatest qualities and diversities of this grape variety, to open new doors among producers, to be a showcase for innovative trends in production, and to provide a serious and reliable references for wine consumers.
